Diving Into Judaism
A 15 week introductory course taught by Rabbi Ariana for curious Jews, non-Jewish family members, those considering adult b'nei mitzvah or conversion, and anyone looking to learn.
Students will engage with the year cycle, the life cycle, and Jewish texts, history, and values. We will rely on text study, personal practice, group reflection and discussion, art making and other expressive modalities, and class field trips to area congregations and communal sites.
Classes will be Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm on October 18, 25, November 1, 8, 29, December 6, 13, 20, January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14.
Classes will be at Homewood Friends Meeting, 3107 N Charles Street, in Charles Village. Students are expected at all classes, within reason!
Class materials list will be sent out at the beginning of October. Homewood Friends is wheelchair accessible. Please indicate any childcare needs below and we will do our best to support you and your family.
